The drawing series "Untitled (robot seed carriers)" consists of drawings of a small ‘robot’ that, like a corkscrew, drills seeds into the ground with the help of the wind. It behaves just like a Hygromorph, a natural form that changes its structure in response to the environment and its conditions, such as humidity. It is always turned downwards at a specific angle to penetrate the ground and plant itself. No synthetic materials or plastics are used in the final product. Instead of a robot, one could call it a ‘copy’ of the Erodium plant that inspired the little planting machine. A hybrid created and a creator.
